• A Domestic EPC is required by Law if Selling or Renting a Dwelling but is not valid for New Build Domestic properties.
• Fines for non-compliance, imposed by Trading Standards. The person responsible for the Marketing is liable.
• Domestic EPCs are also Required for Holiday Homes, Rental Properties, and are sometimes referred to as Landlords EPC Certificate.
• The Certificate is Valid for 10 years.
• Certificate is Lodged on Landmark Register and can be retrieved using a 24 digit pin.
• Requires a Building inspection by a Qualified assessor - Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).
• Should be provided within 28 days of commencement of Marketing.
• Also known as Residential EPC. Produced using RDSAP Methodology.
